Introduction:  The instructions and video below show how to place rectangles in OpenRoads SignCAD.

The Rectangles group in OpenRoads SignCAD includes the following types of rectangles:

The Rectangle and Rounded Rectangle tools can be used to create rectangles of different colors and sizes. Expand the Size and Minimum Size menus to enter Width and Height values. Use the Rounded Rectangle tool to create a rectangle with rounded corners by entering a radius value. 

The Rectangle tool is also a convenient way to place objects into multiple arrangements. Once the rectangle arrangement is placed in the panel, it can be deleted and the objects will remain arranged in the panel.
