The Function Generation completes, but both the chart and the plot files are empty.

Any ideas of why I have empty files?

Answer:

During a dynamic Deterministic Wave/ Transfer Function is important to set correctly the water-deep and Mudline Elevation, remember that the water-deep is negative and the Mudline Elevation positive, if you forgue some of these rules and set both values + or -, the charts in the solution will be empty due to the Software can't difference one form the each other.
