In V7 Workmode, reference clip boundary (or masks) that contain arcs or
curves are not retaining after file save.
(The same clip worked in MicroStation V7/J)
Clip is beyond V7 limit of 101 vertices.
Reason it worked in V7/J:
Due to the 101 vertex limit in V7 clips (for both boundaries and masks),
MicroStation J will "stroke" the curved elements into lines. Since V8
has a higher limit (5000), the "stroke" process is not needed. Even
though it is a V7 file (V7 Workmode), the reference system does not
change the clipping process.
Solution:
Use lines segments instead of true arcs or curves to clip the reference.
The "Drop curves" tool could also be used to "stroke" the curves into
lines.
