Question:

I have installed InRoads/GEOPAK/MX/PowerCivil 08.11.09.674 and notice a new configuration variable named "PWdisable BSIlogging.cfg" added to the config/appl directory. What does this variable do?

 

Solution:

The configuration file disables the robust ProjectWise logging that is delivered turned ON in the MicroStation/PowerPlatform 08.11.09.578 build.  If ProjectWise logging in needed, this config file can be renamed (change CFG extension) or removed from the folder.

Without this configuration variable, it is possible to get the following error when you exit the problem "Runtime Error! R6025 - pure virtual function call".  This problem is scheduled to be fixed in future versions of Micstation/PowerPlatform.
