Problem Description
User wants to check Bar Marks and User Marks at the same time in the same tooltip.
Original Issue Description:
I would like to be able to hover over any bar and have it display the User Bar Mark, instead of having to go through manual bar mark and select each bar individually.
Steps to Resolve
User Marks are Items attached to rebar models. Clearly, these attachments can be displayed as Items in PS tooltips.
1. Enable ProStructures tooltips. The setting is located here: File > Settings > User > Global Settings > Snaps. The setting can also be toggled via PS Toggle buttons located at the PS User Interface shown below.
2. Customize the Object Tooltips. This can be done by activating the Expert Mode in the Dialog Settings which can be located at File > Settings > User > Global Settings. Upon activation, a new Entry "Files" will be displayed. Under the File option, click on the Object Tooltips to open the tooltips.ini text file.
3. Edit the tooltips.ini file using any text editor. Add this line \n%{UserMark.Mark}% in the Rebar Display line as highlighted below. Then, save the file in your local drive and replace the existing which can be located at this address - C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT Edition\ProStructures\Default\appl\Data .

4. Apply prostructure rebuild in the Key-in. Then, enter "42" to reload tooltip configuration.
5. Following the above procedures, users may now hover over every positioned rebars for bar marks and user marks in the 3D Model without having to go through the Manual Marking tool.
In this way, users may easily check the original bar marks and user marks at the same time in the tooltips.
