QUESTION: How to assign spacing between the flared girders along the support?

ANSWER:

The procedure to input the distance between each girder along the Support is as follows.

1) In the Geometry Tab once the stationing, Bearing and Deck information is inputted in the Bridge Component Layout box then the user needs to click on Cross Section button.

2) In the new Cross Section Layout window user can input the spacing between the girders and the first distance is measured from the Edge of the deck.

3) In the future release for a skewed bridge if the user selects the Flared girder option then in the cross section layout window 2 options are provided to input the spacing of the beams/girders. One measured "Along the Support " and other "Along Normal to Reference" . Either way user can input the spacing of the beams.
