Introduction:  The instructions and video below show two methods for changing a sign from Imperial to Metric units in OpenRoads SignCAD.

Method #1: Import SGN

Step 1: Select a Standard and Units: Metric from the drop-down menus. Create a new file. See Selecting a Standard & Creating a New File - OpenRoads | OpenSite Wiki - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities.
Step 2: Import the SGN file that has the sign with the Imperial units into the new file with the Metric units. See Import SGN - OpenRoads | OpenSite Wiki - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities.
NOTE: If dimensions are small and unreadable, then increase the File Properties>Dimension Scale 1: 300 as shown below.

Method #2: Copy/Paste SGN

Step 1: Select a Standard and Units: Metric from the drop-down menus. Create a new file. See Selecting a Standard & Creating a New File - OpenRoads | OpenSite Wiki - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities.
Step 2: Open the SGN file that has the sign with the Imperial units. Click on Panels>Panel Selection. Pick the Element Selection tool, window select the entire sign and pick Copy.

Step 3: Pick the Metric sign file to make it the active file (file name will display blue). Select General>Paste to place the sign on the workspace. Save the file.

NOTE: If dimensions are small and unreadable, then increase the File Properties>Dimension Scale 1: 300 as shown below.
