Problem

Sometimes, users can face an issue where it is not possible to select the multiple elements while performing the manipulation operations. ( Divide and Cut operations specifically). This happens due to the default settings/changed settings in the manipulations dialog.

In this wiki, we will see how to allow multiple selections for modifying operations.

Solution

1. Navigate to the ‘Modify’ tool located under Steel Workflow. (Home>Edit Steel elements>Modify)

2. This will open the ‘Element Modification’ dialog and under it go to the ‘Option’ tab.

3. Here, under multiple object selection, make sure that all the options are enabled.

4. This will allow you to select multiple objects for manipulations by holding the ‘ctrl’ button.
