Question:

A user has an existing and design surface and needs to merge the two. However, the user needs contours that represent both. Can this be done?

Answer:

Use the command Copy Portion of Surface. This command will allow the user to determine which surface (area) will overwrite the other, but yet allow the user to display existing and design contours in one surface.
