Problem Description

When I select an element and want to move it by dragging, the drag operation does not work, I am not able to move the element (without selecting the move tool).

Steps to Resolve:

MicroStation V8i

1. Go to Workspace > Preferences
2. Select Category Input
3. Check if there is option Disable Drag Operations selected > remove the tick mark

MicroStation CONNECT Edition

1. Go to File > Settings > User > Preferences
2. Select Category Input
3. Check if there is option Disable Drag Operations selected > remove the tick mark
