Part L 2021 and Part L 2013 - approved in OpenBuildings 2023

OpenBuildings 2023 has been fully approved by the English Energy Performance of Buildings Division for Part L submission, for both PartL 2021 and Part L 2013.

Note that XML files from prior or latter versions will not be accepted for submission by building control.


To download, visit the Software Centre and select the required version ( 23.00.00.114), as below:

The approved versions of SBEM in OpenBuildings 2023 are:

For Part L 2021:  SBEM v6.1.e.0

For PartL 2013:  SBEM v5.6.b.0


Important: For OpenBuildings 2023 you must install the above SBEM engines to run the PartL calculation.
