STAAD Foundation - Errors in Strap Footing

Hi,

I am exploring SFA's strap footing design. I noticed some discrepancies and possible errors in the calculation sheet and drawings. I hope someone can clarify the following questions (see the images and attached SFA file):

  1. Why does the footing’s rebar spacing in the earlier part of the calculation sheet (362.967mm), latter part of the calculation sheet (368mm), and the one found in the drawing (253mm) are not equal?
  2. Why does the stirrup spacing in the calculation sheet (187.90mm) not equal to the one found in the drawing (126mm)?
  3. What is the purpose of the reinforcement steel, “6-#5 Bars Each Face (Total of 12 Bars) Ties #4 @10” o.c.”? Please note that I did not include any pedestal.
  4. I input a clear cover of 75mm but why is the clear cover in the drawing shows 2 inches?
