RAM Concept Hyperstatic Reactions from Beams without PT

Hello,

See attached model, which contains two slabs with PT at slab mid-depth.

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/5932/Ram-Concept-Hyperstatic-Reaction.cpt

The bottom model is slab only. The top model has a beam, however the PT is at the same elevation compared to the bottom model.

Once the model is run, if I plot the design strip bending moment for the Hyperstatic reaction (Max Mx Plan -> Plot -> Strip -> Bending - > Maximum moment, Plot Layer = Hyperstatic reaction), I’m seeing a large moment for the beam compared to slab. I do not quite understand why this is so high and how the restraint can be causing such a large moment. Since this is a simple model, would it be possible to get an explanation what the program is doing?
