In ProjectWise we need the ability to define a default application for each project. Currently we may have dwg files associated with AutoCAD 2012 in the datasource, but if a project is using 2013 as the default version whenever they drag and drop files the app is set to 2012. This means that the application associated to documents has to be changed for all new documents. The dwg file association should be able to be applied to multiple versions and then a default version set against each project.

is there any other way of correctly assigning the application on the project without changing the default for the datasource?
