Transition from gINT Professional to Openground

I'm considering options for converting from gINT Professional to Openground.

Main use would be importing AGS or Excel files for clients and creating logs, site maps and sections (for individual consultants or small companies) to assist in ground modelling, mining assessments, report preparation etc.

Having used gINT for about 17yrs, I find it incredibly easy to set up section lines using alignments so that multiple lines can be created very quickly for review and all amendments can be quickly implemented.

My main gripe with gINT is the poor support for ACAD drawings.

I am only working part-time so the cost of buying the giNT perpetual license is prohibitive at present.

I have a few questions to consider.  (my gINT license works until near end of February 2024).

1. What modules (and therefore cost) would I need to do the above?

2. Does Openground support Alignments and similar processes to my section creation above?

3. Using the basic set of Openground modules can I display exploratory hole locations on ACAD drawings without having to use use the equivalent of Civil Tools (i.e. stay in the same work environment)?

4. I like the line drawing style of section sticks used in gINT - can these be used in Openground rather than the coloured "3D" style sticks?

Anyone using Openground in NE England who could let me have a look at how they use it (much better than watching videos).

Any help or wise words appreciated.
