Asset manager - adding reference alignment elevation to the points

Hi,

I'm currently working on a project where I have about 900 points that are along my main alignment, but they're on the elevation 0. Is there any possibility to get an information about all these points at once and assign the reference aligment elevation by using asset manager or something else?

Asset manager allows to assign reference alignment station so I was thinking that this suppose to work also with elevation.

Accepted Solution

You can assign elevation to multiple Geometry Points all at the same time relative to a Vertical Geometry.  This is done with the geometry > Horizontal > Modify Point(s).

  1. Select all points to be modified
  2. Select the Modify Point tool.
  3. Set the mode to Plan Element
  4. Set Elevation offset, I used 1.0 FT for demo purposes.
  5. Select the plan element with Vertical Geometry
  6. Cycle through all the remaining options
  7. Point elevations will get modified(added).
