Overview
Navigator Mobile is Bentley Systems mobile application to be able to review 3D models on iPad. The first release is on January 18, 2013.
What is Navigator Mobile
Navigator mobile is an app that can view models in a true 3D environment which allows panning, zooming, rotating, walking, and measuring.
What devices can use Navigator Mobile
Apple's iPad is the only supported tablet device for Navigator Mobile. The following iPads are supported.

What iOS versions are supported
iOS 6.0 is the only supported iOS version.
Where can Navigator Mobile be downloaded
Navigator Mobile can be downloaded from the Apple App store.
Can I open a dgn natively?
No, only the mobile i-models of the .dgndb file type can be used. Dgndb files are created with Navigator Mobile Publisher.
Does Navigator Mobile use i-model optimized files from i-model Composer?
No. Navigator Mobile does not use the optimized i-model files. It only uses dgndb files created from Navigator Mobile Publisher.
How do I create a dgndb file or mobile imodel file?
Use the Navigator Mobile Publisher.
Can I mark up the i-models?
No redlining functionality is included in this release of Navigator Mobile.
Can I publish to ProjectWise?
No
Can I backup my files to Apples's iCloud?
No, that functionality was not enabled due to file size, and the fact that our models are not created on the iPad, they should be backed up elsewhere.
Can I view Level information in properties dialog?
No, graphic information such as level, weight, and color is not captured in element properties. As well Tags are not captured.
Is it possible to have the rendering materials from a Bentley BIM model published to a Mobile i-model?
No, this is not possible in the current version.
Is it possible for sections which were created in Bentley i-model Composer to be viewed in Navigator Mobile?
No, this is not possible in the current version but it is part of plans to add this in a future release.
